A healthcare services company which operates 60+ medical centers in Hong Kong with more than 100 doctors and dentists, and more than 300 healthcare staffs to provide one-stop medical services for Hong Kong community. Customer would like to re-design and re-build their operation system for reform their system functionalities and workflow that to enhance their quality of service towards clients.

Challenges

System Integration

At present there are several individual systems for different users and operation purposes that to be re-designed and integrated, such as consultation system for doctors, registration system for nurses, online shopping system for public users etc. Part of the systems are commercial solution which provide limited system integration readiness and to be about end of support. Others are some purposes built by their internal IT team which require separate support and maintenance to the system.

System Scalability

As to satisfy with the company future expansion, the traditional IT infrastructure design does not meet their business growth. Hardware and application are not scalable which cannot be fast provisioned to ready for a rapid company growth. Besides, it is not an easy way to estimate the CAPX on IT infrastructure investment that is ready to serve multi-region workload.
